I can't see any other likely outcome.

Remember, as bad as W looks today, he's almost certain to look far worse to historians. Today, the bill hasn't come due on his excessive borrowing and reckless fiscal policies. Future generatio0ns will have to pay higher taxes because of them. Today, global warming is an abstract problem that affects mostly polar bears. The history of this era will be written by people living in a world reshaped by warming, and Bush's legacy as the man who was President when the problem became undeniable, but successfully blocked even token responses, will be bad enough to sink an otherwise successful president. After Bush leaves office, more information on the deep corruption of his administration will inevitably come out. Bush supporters today boast that there has been no major terror attack since 9/11. In the future, we will almost certainly have to cope with attacks as bad or worse, probably carried out by people who joined Al Qaeda or clone groups directly because of the Iraq debacle.

Enjoy it while you can, Bush fans. His historical reputation is only going downhill from here. Those of you who actually were imprudent enough to praise him on the internet under your real name will someday have to explain that embarrassing folly to your kids, like the folks who fought to preserve segregation in the 50s and 60s. No doubt you'll blame Bill Clinton.

definitely, i do no longer think of any of your arguments carry any substance to them. i visit bear in strategies George W. because of the fact the main suitable President we've had interior the final a hundred years! for the reason that 9/11 we've had no assaults! An volatile, terrorizing dictator who raped & starved a hundred of a million,000s of his toddlers while he improve into meant to be feeding them is ineffective! And if we perservere in Iraq, democracy would be standard interior the midsection east!! How does that harm us?? How is that undesirable? The financial gadget is transforming into and attaining new heights - have you ever appeared on the inventory marketplace at present? the only erosion of civil liberties is those of terrorists. New Orleans - Bush sought to look after the difficulty however the governor advised him to stay out of it because of the fact it wasn't a federal situation. The governor, mayor and state officers did no longer fulfill their accountability of evacuating their people. and then they blamed Bush for the disaster. an illustration of immoral, and corrupt character!! i might desire to bypass on and on yet base line is you ought to take off your idealistic, unrealistic, liberal-colored glasses. i wish our next President is quite like Bush! (different than perhaps a dash extra conservative!)

Not only of the industrialized era, how about of all time. Talk about a president and VP who were huge power mongers, greedy as hell and have no respect for the rights of or the people they are supposed to represent, these two were by far the worst.

Well considering I lived thru the Nixon years and considering he got us out the boondoggle that was the Vietnam War brought to us by Kennedy and then Johnson (both Democrats) and finally considering that I lived thru the Cater and Clinton years it's my qualified opinion that Carter and Clinton will both be remembered as being far worse than Nixon ever was. As for Bush, while he's incompetent he's still better than Clinton or Carter.

In ANY era, yes. They will look back at this time in our history and it will be referred to as "The Crazy Years", the decade of willful ignorance, the era of Hate and Fear.

The economy has gone up. The job market has gone up. Americans are safer than they were during the Clinton admin. The only lack of effort on his part that upsets me is our immigration problem. We need someone now who will crack down and enforce immigration law. Lets start deporting people who leach off the system and make them come in legally. While I'm at it English should be a must. no comprendai no get in.
