You must have been in a crack/serial site like "Alta Vista", as that is where it must likely came from. it is dangerous being it is a "hijacker".

Download the free version of Superantispyware, well know to find what all other miss. Plus you will get auto. updates daily.

Install and run an indepth scan.

This is caused by the dangerous trojan "Trojan.Zlob".

Smitfraudfix is a program aimed specifically at these types of infections and is HIGHLY effective.
It is available here with instructions:

Also try SUPERAntiSpyware as recommended above.

Before running those programs, do the following;

Open Add/Remove Programs from Control Panel. Uninstall the following software from there.

1) IE security tools ( I don't remember the name of the other following entries, but there'll 3 to 4 in a row.. unistall them all)

2) Windows security alert

Security Toolbar 7.1 is a browser helper object (BHO) that often installs itself through system security holes and generates false security alerts and spyware detection reports using browser hijackings, system tray notifications, flashing icons, tray baloons and other methods. The purpouse of this program is to force users to download and purchase paid versions of antispyware programs. Security Toolbar 7.1 may seriously damage your computer and cause system errors and crahses.
