She was called Suzy Q or John's girl or something like that. Well it turned out to be a kid messing around. This kind of stuff is really time-consuming and annoying. Who else agrees?

I agree, it is so unfair for a person to spend time and really put their heart into an answer, just to find out it's some kid playing around. That's why you start to see more and more half hearted and goofy answers, people don't know if they are helping someone are falling into a trap of child's play. They have really ruined this site for us, this is not a game room.

I think at least 60% of the questions on here are annoying and not real. It drives me nuts. But I answer anyways just in case they reallt need an answer. Plus I get points either way.

Although I don't condone false postings in any way, shape, or form, you have to think about it this way. Maybe someone else was lurking online and had a similar problem to the one that was posted, read the advice, and then took that advice for their own without having to actually post something.
So although it might not have benefited the person posting, maybe it did some good to someone else.

Yes that is very annoying but there is nothing that can be done about it. But if you do know for sure and there is no doubt report them. You are not suppose to give false info on here.

some people get a kick out of others giving heart felt advise to bogus questions...If I am not sure if someone is being upfront with their questions...I will check to see with previous questions they have asked and advise they have given to others....You can tell sometimes that they are just punk *ss kids...
