In northeast Ohio, Sportstime Ohio (owned by the Cleveland Indians) dropped the ball by not having CFL games on the air...the station refused to pursue a contract & Cleveland has a relocated AFL franchise (Las Vegas) that starts play at The Q this season. These leagues are great supplements to the NFL, but don't compare....the players in the CFL and AFL would leave in a minute to play in the NFL.

Both leagues are full of players that do well. It is a matter to the fan's taste as to which league is better. If the fan lives in Toronto, CFL. If the fan lives in LA, NFL.

In my opinion the CFL and Arena League are full of NFL rejects. Those guys couldn't make it in the NFL. So they go to Canada or Arena League, heck even sometimes to the UFC or wrestling.

CFL Arena and the former NFL Europe are all part of a wanna be farm system for the NFL.

Your stats are more imprssice because they are all offensive stats. No defense! When scores are up in the 60's, you know it's all offense. There are two sides to football, offense and defense (though special teams are also important). It is way more fun watching a slug fest that ends 13 - 10, if you ask me.
