THats really odd...but it is very uncommon to get a false positive pregnanct test. I would definitely be calling your doctor and get a blood test. If you havent had a period since Oct. 5th...then you would be pretty far along by now! Please call your dr and find out for sure. Good luck to you!

I'd say you are pregnant. I was late by a week, took a test, and it was negative. Repeated at two weeks late. The third week, I had scheduled an appt. to meet with my OBGYN to see why my period hadn't started back up after going off the pill. Took one last test and it was positive and I'm due in three weeks. :) I didn't have many symptoms and overall had a really easy pregnancy from the get-go.
The tests show up positive if they find enough of the pregnancy hormone in your system and sometimes it takes a while to build up. I would schedule a blood and urine test with your doctor right away, because you're mostly likely pregnant! Congratulations!

Pregnancy test are 97% accurate when done right and not to early. When they are negative its more like a 50% accurate answer. If you get a postitive test thats when its 97% accurate. Some diseases may cause a false positive pregnancy test: choriocarcinomas, IgA deficiencies, heterophile antibodies, enterocystoplasties, gestational trophoblastic diseases (GTD), gestational trophoblastic neoplasms (GTN), testicular germ cell malignancies, and
even other forms of cancer, e.g. lung cancer.
Taking a drug containing hCG can, not surprisingly, can cause a false positive test result. While alcohol and illegal drugs do not affect pregnancy test results, remember that you should NOT drink alcohol or use illegal drugs if there is any possibility you could become pregnant.

I am a EMT and a Father if you had your last period in Oct I would say your pregnant but the best thing to do would be to go see a OBGYN there is a hormone that normally is only released during pregnancy but has been known to show up for other reasons so go see a OBGYN and let them see if your cervix is closed if it is ur pregnant if not there is another reason I hope this helps you and good luck

You CAN get false positives. Go see a doctor. Otherwise you're just going to stress out and spend more money on Hmoe Pregnancy Tests.

there are false positives and false negatives. Some tests are also more sensitive than others. Go see your doctor to get a blood test or wait a week and try taking them again.

The one that read pregnant could have been done wrong, an expired test, or it was an evaporation line. test again in at least 2 days and if you aren't satisfied with the results, have a blood test.

I'd wait a few more days and test again, maybe even a week. Its probably that you are pregnant and the other two tests werent as sensitive as the digital one.

Believe what your doctor tells you. I would get an appointment as soon as possible instead of just spending your money on all of these tests!! Good Luck
