Well I would have to say that the reason why we are so negative against China is for many reason.
The first being the fact that from a very early age we are taught that Communism is bad and therefore any Communist country is bad as well.
The second reason is the fact that many of the jobs that used to be available for US workers to work...have been moved to countries like China and India.
The third reason would have to be something that has been happening currently with the lead in the paint of the toys and other products that are being made there.
The fourth reason would be the fact that we don't understand much of the culture therefore we dislike it without giving a chance to even get half of a clue of what China and its people are like.
Those would be a few of the reasons I can see as causing this form of discrimmination. Alot of other people have many other reasons all, like the above reasons, that do not really make any sense or is because they are in fact afraid of people or things that are different.

You have to differentiate between China and the Chinese people and the Government of that country. The latter doesn't have a good track record of encouraging positie thinking about anything ...thus incurring considerable scepticism. Despite their feeling of powerlessness in terms of having to slavishly repeat what is thrust at them from 'on high', I have a respect for most Chinese people. Having spent many years there, I also have a deep affec5tion for the country and its historical and cultural development.

I'm negative about China only because the Chinese are the biggest polluters in the world, and because I think their remorseless and too rapid industrialisation, will in the long term create an unhappy population divorced from its traditions.

If you follow history, present day China is very similar to Nazi Germany or Imperial Japan just before World War Two. That's why.

the stupidity of American economics.America pays what like very few cents for each toy shoe,or product for huge companies and when the products aren't safe(the lead paint coating) they point the finger at the chines and say its there fault.hello lead base paints are cheap.if America would give them a some money then china would have to settle for cheap paint.United States in particular is to money hungry.
