I'm doing a research report on the price of college textbooks and I'm trying to find out which ones are commanding the most value and if there is a site or list that updates that daily.

You can look at Amazon, where they list used book prices for every book. However, this is just whatever people want to try to sell their book for, and for a book that is $100 new, the used books could be anything from $1 to $99.99.

If you contact a college bookstore, you might be able to get a list of their buyback prices. In general, they buy a book back for about 40% of the selling price if the book will be used in the next year, and much less if not.

This doesn't have to do with your question, but some textbooks are adding useless extras to raise the price of the book, including CDs (which, if they work, contain practice problems just like you can get for free on their website) and codes for 6 months of access to some research website (useless if your school has a library, and clever because if the professor required you to use the code, then no one can buy a used book).

well I dont know about a site but big huge books, especially Science and higher math books always cost a lot and you get the most back for them.
