How do you know they feel that way? Maybe its just a person walking with a cup of coffee.

I hate starbucks in general.
I went to a starbucks coffee shop & I thought the bucket of change on the counter was where people didn't want their change because they were in a hurry.
Anyways.. this snobby coffee lady behind the counter yells at me
Whaaaat are you doing?"
Anyways... I will never go there again
I just needed a few cents for my coffee. Thats why I did that.

How about a cup of Starbuck's in one hand and their cell to their ear? This must be the height of chic or whatever they call it today. I was behind this fella on a crowded freeway. He was driving an incredibly large SUV and it was clear he had a cup of something in one hand and his cell in the other. I really got nervous when he lit up a cigarette. I kind of assumed he was driving with his knees. There was a very large truck in front of him and I could just see the truck slamming on it's brakes and this man having to scramble to get rid of the coffee-cell and cigarette long enough to hit the brakes on his giant. I couldnt get out of his way and I said a lot of prayers that morning.

Nothing cool about drinking coffee from a cardboard cup, sort of tastes crap,in fact the cups in Starbucks are crap as well.I think I'll stick to tea, nothing finer than a bit of china.

i don't necessarily feel cool, but i do feel more grown up and mature. i guess its just the fact that coffee is only for adults ( i was never allowed to have it until i got to like 15). so it is probably just psychological. for me where the coffee comes from starbuck, dunkin donuts...etc is makes me feel grown up.

I feel cool when I am walking with a cup of coffee when it is cold outside because I know everyone else around me wishes they had a cup of coffee, too. It makes me feel somewhat privalaged.

I do that all the time. I'm just waiting for it to get cool enough to take a sip, then cool down some more to drink some more, etc. It's got nothing to do with 'posh'.

Sometimes when you are walking with a cup of coffee you feel uncomfortable so you try to look cool.
Whenever I feel out of place I try to look cool so my feeling out of place won't show.
