Every day in a couple of my classes, i get malicously made fun of and I can not stand it any more. Every time I say something, I get made fun of it for no reason. I am a nerd/smart but they will be mean to me and then expect all the answers to worksheets we do. I am 15. I have a good amount of friends but most of them are not in my class so I have no one who I like in my class. I get really angry at them when they are jerks and I tell then that they are the stupidest kid I know and that they will never amount to anything. I am a really nice person and people will usually say that about me but when people are mean I just flip. I NEED to make this stop. What can I do?

Thanks everyone. I am moving up to a Bio honors class so atleast that is one less class I have to deal with. People are much smarter in that class and wont have to cheat of me!

First, develop a thicker skin.
Secondly, stop letting them know that they're getting next to you by reacting to what they're doing.
Don't you know that the more you react to them, the more they're going to bother you?
Learn to laugh at yourself. Don't take what they say to heart. They're just jealous of your smartness.
Finally, so what if they're copying your work. In the long run, they'll lose. They'll be the ones who can't function in society, not you. They'll be cheaters all of their lives.
You're smart and they're envious of your brain. They see something in you that they can only dream about being.
I got two words for you--Bill Gates!
And we all know how rich that "nerd" became, don't we?

You are in a tough situation. There isn't really an answer to end all ridicule. You can let the teacher know how uncomfortable the kids are making you feel, but who knows how well that will work. Getting mad at them and insulting them will only make it worse. Try to ignore them. Keep this in mind, the kids picking on you are doing so to cover up things in their lives that are embarrasing. They might have an alcholic abusive dad or a mom that sleeps with everyone elses dad. They might be getting abused by their priests or have small penises that they don't want anyone to find out about. The bottom line is that you have SOMETHING that they wish they had, they are jealous of you, and are picking on you to make up for it. School will be over for you eventually, and they will be picking up your trash and flipping your hamburger someday.

You know why you are being made fun of? It's because you are smart and they are not. I had the same problem in school. Kids tormented me because I would make A's and the teachers loved me.
Moral of the story, I became successful and those jerks are still struggling. You will come out on top. TRUST ME!!!
By the way, stop giving them answers. Tell them if they can't respect you, then you will not be helping them PERIOD.

Just take it easy and develop a "no-problem" attitude. Don't make a big deal out of it, and if anything just stay calm and if you have to then just diss them back with one line while smiling. But this may cause these guys to become enemies and I'm not sure if you want more problems with these kids.

Just don't say anything at all to them. Don't let a bunch of jerks cheat off of you. They will feel like they are being rewarded for making fun of you.

Stop giving them answers.
IF they don't respect them for who you are, then why show respect and give them answers.
Infact, they are using you for your answers, and your just letting them.
Nerds/Smart people always get made fun of, your an easy target because you put up with the bullshit, and still give them their answers.
Just stand up, and tell them no.

Try to find humor in what they say and say something funny back if that doesn't work for you then just ignore them.Remember the old saying if you cant beat them join them.Good Luck

They are all jealous of you, please try and ignore them because they WANT a reaction from you, and the more you react, the more they will tease you. It all doesn't matter anyway after graduation, will you be seeing them everyday after you graduate??? NO! Then forget all of them and concentrate on your school work and friends- they are all not worth it-

I know it is so easy to say ignore them, they want you to get
angry, don't waste your time on them, is there anyway you can
change classes? Your right they are stupid for doing this, but by you calling them stupid doesn't help, make them study for their test and don't allow them to use you for answers.

dont say anything to them.ignore them or if you do say something joke around.like it doesnt bother you.they keep doing it cause they know it gets to you so just dont let it play it off like you dont care.mostly likely after that they leave you alone.
