Area = L * W
...= 24ab - 2b² + 8bc

Perimeter = 2L + 2W
...= 4b + 24a - 2b + 8c
...= 24a + 2b + 8c

Area=length * width

area = 2b * (12a - b + 4c) = 24ab - 2b^2 + 8bc

Perimeter is the addition of all the sides of a shape, so depending on how many sides this shape has will effect the equation you use to calculate this. I will assume that this a four sided shape:

perimeter = 2(length + width) = 2[(12a - b + 4c) + (2b)]
perimeter = 24a + 2b + 8c

Area = length x width, so

Area = 2b (12a - b + 4c)
Area = 24ab - 2b + 8bc
Area = 12ab - b + 4bc
Area = 12a - 1 + 4c

Perimeter = (width x 2) + (length x 2)
Perimeter = 2b + 2b + 12a - b + 4c + 12a - b + 4c
Perimeter = b + 12a + 4c

Perimeter = 2 times length + 2 times width
P = 2(12a - b + 4c) + 2(2b)
P = 24a - 2b + 8c + 4b
P = 24a +2b + 8c
P = 12a + b + 4c

Area = length times width

a = (12a - b + 4c) (2b)
a = 24ab - 2b^2 + 8bc
a = 12a - b + 4c

Just in case: the symbol ^ means "to the power of" the number after it.

Area is width multiplied by length so:
A = 2b(12a - b + 4c) = 24ab - 2b² + 8bc

Perimeter is the width and length added up and multiplied by two
P = 2 * (12a - b + 4c + 2b) = 24a + 2b + 8c

Perimeter: 2(2b) + 2(12a - b + 4c)
4b + 24a -2b + 8c
24a + 2b + 8c

Area:

2b (12a - b + 4c) = 24ab - 2b^2 + 8bc

area is length times width
so its 2b x (12a-b+4c)
perimiter is the 4 sides added together so its 2 of each length and 2 of each width
so its (2x2b)+(2x(12a-b+4c))
i will leave you to simplify the answers :)

2b x 12a - b + 4c = it will equal b x 12a = 4c because you can't simplify it any further.

you see 2b can be minused by the b cos they are the same.

perim = 24a -2b +8C +4B
which is ummmm
24a +2B +8C

Area is
2B * (12a-b+4c)
which is... ummm
24ab - 2b^2 +8BC
