I was looking to buy some tickets for the game on New Year's Eve and the seller said they are in Section 210 Row N. If someone could tell me where that is (high or low).

They appear to be fairly high, but still ok.
Go wings!

I believe the Joe is made up of a lower seating bowl and then one upper seating bowl. A very basic 2 tiered arena, that holds around 20,000, opened in 1981 I believe. I would think that there is not a bad seat in the house.

Section 210 is in the upper bowl on the penalty box side, vistors bench side, above the faceoff circle. You might want to ask again about the row because Joe Louis Arena uses numbers for rows, not letters (maybe meant row 10?). I sat top row in that section for a playoff game last spring and it was still a good seat. So you should be fine. Enjoy the game.

Joe Louis Arena has an on-line seating diagram. I don't have a link, but it isn't hard to find. Go and find exactly where your seat is! (They sound pretty good to me. Congrats!)

Most arenas that have Section numbers in the 200s, it's about as high as you can go. But most of them have very few bad seats, unless you're at the very top, in which case there's going to be some obstruction from the rafters.

Well thats behind the penalty box and 200+ is in the upper section of the "bowl" shaped seating. It may not be good but it also can be good since Detroit has no more sell outs from all the jobs being lost.

Have fun at the game :D

Whenever I go to a Wings game I sit in the very last row in the upper level and its still a really good seat, so it dont really matter how high you are cuz its still a really good seat. Go Wings!!

Don't worry about it being to high. I was just at the Carolina game on Sunday and was at Section 223. I had no morons in front of me and a great view of the whole ice surface.
