There is a relative of the lobster in New Zealand that has a "Y" shaped head, where the eyes are at top tips of the "Y". It's called a Morton Bay bug.
Xmas and Xian are old, like 14th century, Christian terms, X stands for the Greek letter "Chi" which stands for Christ.
The skull and cross bones used to be a Xian symbol of mortality which is why it is seen on many grave stones.
