GM, makes many brands Caddy, GMC, Chevy, hummer, Pon, Sat, olds, buick...and a few more. Chevy could be luxury on the tahoe, vette, caddy for sure, hummer, buicks....

Chevy can be a luxury brand, yes. More so now than ever before you can choose between a standard get me there Chevy or the same car with every option and luxury you can imagine.
I personally drive an 07 Suburban LTZ (I know shoot me for buying a gas guzzler) and my wife drives an 07 Impala SS LTZ. The LTZ package is the premium badge for most late model Chevrolet vehicles. The Suburban for example has triple stitch leather, navigation, heated mirrors, heated/cooled seats, DVD system, BOSE audio, automatic flip down seats, automatic flip up/down rear gate, tire pressure monitoring, oil monitoring, you name it...all the same stuff you'd find in a Lexus, etc.
With that said, GM is a large company with many brands...not just Chevy. They have entire lines devoted to luxury...Cadillac anyone? It really just depends on how much you want to spend. For my dollar (mechanic forever, shop owner for just as long) a new luxury GM car will outperform, outlast, and cost much less than any of the foreign "lux" crap out there.
If you're looking for sports car speed and luxury to spare the Impala SS is the way to go. Supercharged with all the bells and whistles. If you want the same luxury with a luxury name move up a level to the Cadillac CTS.

If you're looking for luxury it's a tie between Cadillac and Lincoln. But basically all American cars are good. Jeep's. Dodge charger. Chevy's SUVs. And gmc's SUVs

Chevy is the flagship of GM, so it's kinda the base, it goes Saturn, chevy, Pontiac, GMC, Buick, Sabb, I think?, than Cadillic

I wouldn't say they were a "Luxury" brand. But the make the Corvette.
"Luxury" brand would be "Cadillac, Mercedes & BMW.
