I'm pretty sure Microsoft won't stop at the 360 model. I can garauntee that there will be a new one but nor for a while. The X-Box 360 was just released so you have to give it some time to outdate itself. As for the name it all depends on how you use the system, but I am going to have a guess and say it will be called the X-Box 720. Hope this helped.

From what I have read on my rumor sites, Microsoft does not plan to release a new Xbox for a while, and if they do, they plan to make the Xbox 360 more like the longevity of the PS2 and have games out for it for a very long while. I am hoping that also means backwards compatability for all consoles from here on out so there aren't as many problems in the future with the format and older Xbox games not working on the 360.

The question is not "will there be a new X-Box," but "when will a new X-Box come out?"
Colecovision replaced pong, The Atari replaced colecovision, Atari 6300 replaced the Atari, etc, etc etc....
Always coming out with the newest and bestest thing.
Try to buy a computer, and not have a better model come out 6 months later (at most).

there is its called the xbox 360 it was introduced last year there will not be a new one for awhile atleast a few years ><

theres always something new coming out especially with that new problem thats happening with it just turning off almost all of the xbox are going broke you know when all the lights flash on the circle thing on the xbox.....bummer

Of course there will. It won't be out for a while as the 360 isn't out long in game years. It is expect to last as long as the ps2 did.
