That's a stupid essay question. I thought you were actually asking how it helps because you thought comp was pointless. And I was gonna be all on board with that! I think the fact that I got a perfect score on my placement test with grammatical skill should qualify me to just skip the darn class.
Sorry I can't help you, I think the class is dumb.

It doesn't prepare you and taking the class is only good for an easy A. Just bs something and be sure to praise your teacher, since they're going to be the ones reading it.
