none i learned alot of realistic possitive things being married. the best thing is not having to date in this world of wackos any more. I love my husband he is my best friend and i feel complete with him. even when he still hasnt learned to change the toilet paper roll after 4 years but thats ok that s the small stuff. being married has encouraged me to maintain my fasique even more so i work out evenhaving kids, i will make sure to stay in shape and be the sexiest wife for him! see mariage isnt a chore its an accomplishment.

That, on both sides, sometimes you just have to swallow your pride and let stuff go, and sometimes you just stop arguing and apologize. It makes things a lot easier and makes for less fighting.
I also learned that it is inborn in men that their wives are supposed to do all the housework. He got lazy!
BUT nothing is better than waking up next to the person you love most every morning and leaning over and kissing him and saying "Good morning baby"

That a person can hide some very serious things about themselves until after the wedding.
Despite our love for each other, it might not have worked out (he died). His immaturity affected everything (his relationship to his kids, our money management, his employment, my relationship with my family when they saw what was happening, etc.).

That most couples have at least one of you that get too comfortable and take for granted the other. Forgetting that marriage takes work every day....sharing a life with someone...it takes unselfishness...giving and taking. I learned that you have to keep it interesting and work at it daily....once that ring is on your finger..it doesnt mean stop trying.

That it was the biggest mistake of my life! The only redeeming factor was the birth of my son. Needless to say the marriage didn't last long.

That it's the best thing to wake up every morning with your loved one right next to you...
That there are ups and downs but with love you can conquer it all...
That he (my husband) gets every lil thinga bout me...
That marriage only made our relationship stronger

The Honeymoon never has to end if you work at it.
A few wrinkles forming here and there as time goes by do
not detract from beauty.
Grey hair can be lovely.
Once beautiful, always beautiful.
Oh!! You asked for HARD truths. Sorry to disappoint.

i was too young ( married 8 days after i turned 17) , that i don;t like alcoholics (ex husband was one), i don't like screaming arguments.
that if only one person wants to be married, is working to make the marriage work, then the marriage is doomed to failure.
