Apology accepted. No worries mate.
Once in a while, this thing happens with the U.S. and Canada, usually involving two NHL teams, one from the U.S., one from Canada, neither whom can behave. So the fans take it out on the National Anthems that are played before the games. It's not often, but it does happen.
Eventually when the dust settles, we apologize, kiss and make up, and we kinda have to since we're right next to each other.
I was pissed off at the booing of our Anthem. But I'm over it now, and no worries. Have a good one!

No apology necessary, we ourselves have been known to do some not so nice things during sporting events. I mean look at what happens when ever an underdog American team in any sport wins.... The town that team is from is consumed with riots

No apology necessary, some people just behave boorishly and I don't think that their antics reflect on an entire nation. As the Grandfather of a Marine serving in Iraq, I send a huge Thank You to everyone in Great Britain for all your support over the years. God Bless!

apology accepted, although not necessary. We are a hardy bunch and don't bruise easily by the words and actions of extremist towel heads or toothless boisterous Brits at a sporting event. Cheers to you, as none of what I just said applies to the vast majority of good and decent Brits.

No need to apologize. We have our fair share of drunken sports fans.
