because she proved she's willing to rot in jail to protect the lies from coming to light that are his life. She proved she was not willing to be killed by going against the Clintons, that she would gladly rot in jail for them, so he pardoned her. Why? What's wrong with that. You would do the same thing if you had that much power.

She was one of a very few people who did time for the Whitewater scandal. Part of that time was for civil contempt of court because she refused to answer three questions from the grand jury investigating the scandal.

I guess Bill was rewarding her loyalty.

As Bush did for Scooter Libby.

Because she kept her mouth shut like a good little trooper during the Whitewater and Rose Law Firm scandals. She fell on her sword for him and he owed her.
