Looks like everybody forgets (or doesn't understand) that Vick is not a good quarterback. He never was and never will be.
Running around out of control is not quarterbacking. Steve Young could run as well as Vick or better, but he ran ONLY when he HAD to.
He was a quarterback first and ran when there was no other option.
Montana couldn't run, Brady and Paton Manning cannot run, Marino couldn't run, if his life depended on it.
Can we even put Vick in the same sentence with those guys? Come on, people, Vick is a bum, a jerk and BAD quarterback.

If he stays in shape in prison (shocked if he doesn't) then yes, I think he will. That's only about 2 years. Not that long considering his age.
Now since that is answered, I must address something:
To you people that think he should not comeback because of him being a "bad roll model" PLEASE. Wake up. If your children or any children are looking to professional atheletes as roll models (which I know they are), there is a serious problem with your children and those children who are doing this. They are paid TO PLAY...not to be roll models. We as a society need to start parenting our kids and stop expecting celebrities and sports athletes to be their roll models. That's what really needs to happen. Look at these "stars" for what they are: Great entertainers and/or athletes and leave the rest to the parents...seriously. I'm tired of the argument.

Probably not, but if he does it'll be as a scrub backup somewhere making around the league minimum with no endorsement deals and it won't be until at least 2010, if not later. Not too mention the fact that he was really never very good to begin with. Horribly overrated.
Oh.............and he probably still won't have learned his lesson. He'll probably be as arrogant and stupid as ever.
Oh, by the way...for "Ryan?" Read this ya idiot. And learn the facts before you say OTHER people are stupid....

I don't think so. He's good so that any team would want him but they would never take him because of the millions and millions of people around America that hate him because of what he did. I believe that his punishment is good but I also think that people should forgive him. But I don't think he should go back to the NFL because of all the kids who look up to him. I totally used to look up to him myself and I was so....sad and mad and suprised when I heard about what he did.

He probably will. The pimp owners of the NFL will take anyone if they think they can make a buck on them.

If he was not who he is, he would have gotten the maximum sentence. Some team will give him a chance when he gets out. But it won't be with Atlanta. I think they are done with him.

This is America. He should be allowed a second chance, or at least the opportunity to formally apologize to those who've looked up to him growing up.

He should not be allowed to come back. He should have to spend the rest of his life, cleaning out dog kennels for the county.
