No....but that's not always a bad thing. There are some things that if it went how I wanted it to, I wouldn't have seen, been, ect. I'm pretty happy with my life.

Shoot no- I wanted to be a flight attendant , travel the world, live in a penthouse apartment, and be carefree and single all my life. Instead I've been divorced three times, have 2 daughters and am a struggling single mom of age 49 with a 10 year old to raise alone- so I'd say not anywhere close.
But - I really and truly am happy and content with my life anyhow.

no not at all but i wouldn't change it now. I have met many wonderful people and been to wonderful places lots of bad stuff has happened too.
If my life had gone the way i wanted it to i wouldn't be the person i am today and I'm just starting to like that person now so i wouldn't change my life for anything.

I never really though how it might turn out I just got on with it,it's been tough at times but I made a good living and couldn't ask for much more,I'm happy and secure so that's enough for me.

"the way you thought it would"

10 years ago ....???
thing is, that moment of "thought" keeps happening over and over and over ...
some "yes"
some "no"
you have to pick that snapshot of the river that suits your momentary idea and extrapolate from there
"fixity of purpose"
"idee fixee"
ossified, straight-jacketed, blinders-on marching to the inevitable ..?
it's been interesting .... and observing the remnants of "class-identification" which imprint most personalities, it would be easy to make a case for the "ilusion" of self-directed-ness
but I don't know
"yes and no"

No, definitely not.......I would think most people would answer much the same way. There a times when I should've zigged and I zagged instead..........What I call the, "Coulda, Woulda Shoulda Syndrome." but its the here & now that we have to deal with and no use in, "Cryin' over spilt milk!"......lol

I had never expected to wind up as I did. My success in life was sparked by my loving wife, she allowed me to take a huge chance that paid off very well.
