Everyone keeps saying 3 rings....he has 4. Anyways Tim Duncan is the best PF ever. SO that obviously means he owns Kevin Garnett. Nice Question.

I would have to say Kevin Garnett.
You can talk of Tim Duncan and his three rings. However Tim Duncan has always had a team: Sean Elliott, David Robinson, Steve Kerr, Tony Parker, Bruce Bowen and Manu Ginobili...not to mention the team always had a good role players. Yes he has had great stats, however he has had help to become great. Being called "The Great Fundamental" on a fundamentally sound team. If he did not have all the help, his numbers would not have been as great as they are.
Garnett has never had two solid players. He only had Marbury (when he played like a true point) for while, Ricky Davis (terrible), Olowakandi (bust), Sprewell....There is no comparsion to the players TD has played with. All the T-wolves had was KG....he saved that franchise from relocating. He has always been in the top 10 for points, rebounds and assist. He could not make his team better, because he had no team.
Now in Boston, Pierce, Allen and KG make each other better. We are now seeing how great Garnett is.

Kevin Garnett. Especially this season, Kevin Garnett is ahead of Tim Duncan in points/game, rebounds/game, assists/game, steals/game, and has a better field goal %and free throw %. Garnett is stronger in the post, can make quicker and faster cuts to the basket than Tim Duncan.
Although, Tim Duncan has 3 rings, Kevin Garnett is a better individual and team player.

Both are great players and I followed Duncan since his time at Wake Forest and he is a class act. However, Garnett is unbelievable and is showing just how good he can be leading the Celtics this year. Very slight edge to Garnett.

Duncan's injured right now.
But Tim Duncan's better when he's not injured. Garnett's team makes him better, Duncan makes his team better.

talentwise, ill have to go with KG, he's quicker, better offensive player, passer and rebounder.. the only edge that duncan has is he's playing in a great organization and an outstanding coach, his team has the ability to put great role players around him while in KGs case, twolves did some when they drafted marbury.. many thought that they will be a great team but they traded steph after couple of years.. and in 2004 KG led his wolves to the conf finals with the help of solid support os sprewell and cassell... see KG doesnt need solid superstars to win, he just needs solid stars who can bak his game up..
now that KG is playing with pierce and ray allen, its very interesting to see if KG can duplicate what duncan did to the spurs.
