unfortunately i have started to grow hair all over my butt, its a very dark and thick hair , i want to shave it but don't know how to do it ! i mean i can't see my *** to ensure that iam really doing it properly.

Waxing is the answer but go to a salon, don't try to do it yourself. Also, make sure you get advice from the therapist on skincare before and after treatment to avoid ingrown hairs and irritation of the follicles.
The other answerers are correct that most adult males do naturally have hair on their buttocks but in 2007, it's quite reasonable, if you like to look after your appearance and it's bothering you, to have the hair waxed off. And by the way, don't be embarassed, the salons have seen it all before.

Men are supposed to have hairy buttocks, few are smooth past their teen years. I would suggest you just learn to live with it, once you start shaving it, you will have to shave it regularly to maintain it, not to mention dealing with the stubble once it does start to grow back.
However, if you are dead set on doing it, maybe you could get a trusted friend or lover to do it for you.

when you shave it grows back twice as long,fast, and dark. r u sure you want to get into that? youll have to shave it all the time if you do. wax should be easier.

i'd say get it waxed; or even laserd if its that bad.
dont shave it, it'll just grow in thicker and darker than it is now.
if u wax it enough it'll weaken the root and eventually wont grow back as much
