a little selfish at times, but not a bad person. my wife blows up on me once a month on average. says stuff to me like i dont think of her enough, etc. etc.
do all husbands deal with this? i am not asking this question to be a wise guy, but just wondering if i got a raw deal.

"Generally good guys" are shocked when it happens, because they forgot and forgave the last time it happened -- usually 30 days before.

My wife blows up two days before her menstruation cycle begins -- I could set my clock by it, and do. For the two days before I'm careful what issues I decide to push, and which ones I let slide.

And "generally good guys," let most everything slide.

I think it just happens ... check out her calendar - maybe her blow up comes around a certain time ... hate to be placing the blame on that but I know I do get a little more "emotional" at that time (and it's not always before, sometimes it's during or just after) hormonal changes can really mess things up.

But let her know it hurts either way. My hubby does that, especially if I don't catch myself and at the very least apologize for being "crazy". At times I feel irrational I just can't shut my mouth fast enough to stop me from blowing up.
