When I tried to reply, that I was not paid and was simply stating my own opinion, I could not respond as Dana Crew did not allow email. If you are going me shouldn't you at least let me respond.

That's the way trolls operate. You could close your email or ignore them.
I have my email open and I welcome comments from liberals, and conservatives alike. Ones like that I would ignore. They can dish it out but they are unable to accept criticism in return.
If you come to this site though you must expect some people that do not really want to see any opinion outside of their own and will mock you.
Don't be discouraged, there still are good people who don't answer with personal slurs.

That is the act of a coward. She opened up her email just to send you something then closed it done. She is upset because you were stating your opinion on a political matter and it happened to be different than hers. I have not gotten messages like this before on other things like my views on abortion, and adoption. I have allways been able to respond though

you probably downloaded a virus when you clicked on the link. thats one of the oldest tricks to get people to spread a virus. you should have your computer scanned immediately.
