well my parents & siblings and i always buy each other several gifts... but our extended family we draw names and are only supposed to buy for that one person--- but i tend to always buy for the little ones (in my family i have--- 10 cousins, 6 second cousins as well as 3 aunts and two uncels)... our cousins range in age from 26 years to 5 years old...

One year we tried to get really creative and we made a rule that you had to buy both a real present for the person and a gag gift... the gag gift was supposed to be a secret; but in my family nobody kept the secret and we all knew who got who and what they got them wayyyy before christmas...

My mom's family has been doing a game for several years now in which each of us buys a present for $20. We place numbers at the dinner table and then someone drawsa number. taht number picks up a prsent. We can keep it, or once another peron's number is drawn and they picks present, another person can steal that present. Each present can be stolen up to 3 times.

The present each of us buys is something any ofus can use, a calendar, gumball machine, box of chocolates, novelty lightings, battery-operated toy devices, to name a few possiblities that have been purchased over the years.

Yes, we have done that the last several years on my husband's side of the family because there are so many of us. I think its nice. It can get very expensive. We always make it mandatory to have a list with at least 3 things on it in that specific amount, no gift cards allowed!

We all get the kids something the adults well you don't want to be the one to get something. It is a gag gift from the whole family. When I got one I reached into the bag a got a handful of dog poop. They all got a good laugh. This year it isn't me though. We are sending a gift box full of goodies to my sister's new husband in Iraq instead of the gag gift we normally do.

Yes for my siblings and me as well as their spouses. There are only my two sisters, their husbands, my brother and his wife. For my nieces and nephews who are 10 and under I always buy them Christmas gifts.

When I was younger my father's family, he was the 6th of 10 kids, would draw names but it got to be too cumbersome when girlfriends and boyfriends of family got included.

In my family, we will buy presents for our immediate family and then have a Secret Santa drawing for our other family members.
