If a head gasket you need to fix ASAP, before you get major engine damage. Could try some sealers, but be sure to follow directions to the letter. Either way you will need to have fixed sooner or later.

White smoke means the head gasket is gone, left for South America for the holidays. You need a head gasket and maybe a valve job, maybe a head resurface. Jeez! Take a look at the cost of a salvage yard engine to see which is less expensive. Sadly, a head gasket is just the start for a Honda/Acura product.

Take it to another mechanic.

Have the Leak down test performed on the cylinders.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leak-down_tester

This will tell you if you've got a bad head or if it's something else. All the cylinders should have about the same "leak" rate. If one or two has a significantly different leak rate it will indicate the cylinder with the head gasket problem.

If all cylinders have the same "leak" rate. Look somewhere else for the problem, it's not likely to be the head.

If you think your head gasket might be blown check your oil dipstick. Some people call it a "milkshake". If the oil has brown particles in it, or kinda looks like a milkshake, that means you do have a blown head gasket. You need to get it fixed as soon as you can, just keep track of your coolants and keep checking that dipstick.
(You can also just go ahead and replace it!)

Head gaskets are either bad, or they're not bad, they can't be "almost bad"

What could happen, is your cylinder could fill up with antifreeze/coolant overnight, you go to start your car, it "hydrolocks" and destroys the whole engine. Better get it repaired soon.

I cant say he is right or not but a head gasket can seep before it actually blows You should have it fixed now before anything worse happens Good Luck!

I'd get that fixed and fast. I would be nervous even driving it to the mechanic. Will be pricey, but you have no choice.
