No, I actually think they'll edge the Giants for the #5 seed. They should win all their remaining games pretty easily, while the Giants will most likely lose two of their last three (at Buffalo, and New England). That would leave both teams 10-6, and the Vikings would get a higher seed based on their victory over the Giants.

This is a Vikings team with a whole different attitude and leadership on the field. I actually took a huge flyer this summer and have them as losing to the Pats in the Super Bowl...I thought AP was going to bring so much offensively to the team for the club to surprise people. Jackson is now playing the QB position as I thought he would at the start of the season and the defense has gotten better throughout the year. They may go 3-0 and be a team that has a wealth of momentum to do some serious damage in the playoffs.

sure. although that's going to be a meaningless interception. With the Vikings up by ability of 28 factors interior the super Bowl, Brett Favre will take a knee a pair of circumstances to expire the clock. although, on the 2d kneeldown, his knee won't actual touch the floor (he would be so excited that it will slip his strategies). As he comes returned up, he will turn the soccer to the closest genuine. An alert Baltimore Ravens defender will grasp the ball out of the air and return it for a landing as time runs out. however the Vikings will nevertheless win the activity by ability of 22 factors. ***by ability of how, Favre's interception did no longer end the season for the Vikings final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. It in uncomplicated terms stalled a ability activity-triumphingpersistent and allowed the Saints to rigidity extra time. Their season improve into actual ended by ability of a container objective.

I think there is too much riding on Tavaris Jackson's shoulders.
He may as well be Tito, Janet or Latoya Jackson, because teams will have to play to stop the run and see if he can beat them.
I think they'll make some serious noise if they can get a reliable QB, and a better secondary.
