i am a 16 y/o teen guy. what should i do to find my purpose? what signs can i follow? how can i seek out these signs?

find what drives your life----your passions/ if you had a resevoir, and you had to keep it full with what motivates you, then things that "drained" you would have to be re-powered by those things that keeps you going

I heard a real good sermon on this. I be religious for a sec then practical. Gods plan is just to love him and follow him the rest is up to us.
You really do not have a purpose in life that is unique to you. When you feel that way it is because you have no direction. The best way to get back on track is to sit down with a blank piece of paper and start writing down the things you would like your life to be like and the things you would like to have, and the things you would like to be known for at the conclusion of your life.
With that list start making a plan. There are councilors for just about everything. You may research how your goal can be accomplished.
The most important thing is to be actively pursuing a goal. Happiness comes in the pursuit of worthwhile goals and dreams. You should always be working towards something.
Let's say you wrote down I want more friends. Then you need to learn how to do that. Goto the book stores and start reading books about self confidence, being assertive, confident, and outgoing. Then start practising what you learn.
Follow this stradegy for everything you want. When you get as far as you can on your own start looking for people who have knowledge and seek their advise.

You're not really finding purpose in life, you're finding reasons to live. Purpose refers to questions like, "why was I put on earth" or "why was I born"; such questions have to be asked of God.
I think you're probably asking what will make you happy.
