Yes its true your pregnant. It is more likely you will get false negative results than a false positive. But best thing to do so you know 110% is to call your OBGYN and tell him/her you got a positive result from a HPT and you wanna come in for a blood test to be sure.
Congratulations on the up and coming bundle of joy. Merry Christmas!!

it should be... you can always get a false negative but the chances of getting a false positive are almost none... if you have the hormones in your body than you have the hormones, point blank... if you're still concerned though wait until after your missed period and take another one, or go to the doctors and get a blood test done, they're more accurate then home tests anyway and should put your mind at ease... congrats if you are!! =]

Pregnancy tests arnt exactly 99% positive, and you are supposed to take the test a week after your period was due.
Taking a test a few days early could mess up the reading, so its probably best to just wait a few more days, take the test again, and hope for the best.

It could be...or it could be that your hormone's are all wacked out since you should be starting soon.. Wait the 3-5 days , see if you get your period like you are supposed to and then take another test if you don't.. If you don't want to wait, schedule an appointment with your OBGYN and ask to get a blood test taken.. =)
Good Luck with everything =)

More than likely you are pregnant but to make sure it's not a false positive just take another one if/when you miss your period.

It is more likely to get a false negative than a false positive. Just call you Dr. and go in for a blood test and exam . Congrats.

Possibly, but there is such a thing as a false positive. Take another test in a few days.
