i am 14, and a faithful baptist. one of my good friends are gay, she smokes, curses, and other sinful things. She's going through alot in her life, her dad abandoned her, her mom is gay, her step mom and mom think she is on drugs and having sex, and she isnt. she feels like there is no hope and said she wished she was dead/ i know that if only she turned to God, that things could get better. i know miracles happen but i really dont see her changing her sexual prefereances, and i believe its a sin. how can God help her if she isnt willing to sacrifice at lest that much. i know that if she would just turn to God that things would at least get on the right path. she cant talk to anyone bc its really hard for her to open up to ppl, so i am really glad that she has been talking to me. i dont want to shove my beliefs down her throat, but i dont know how to get started with helping her besides prayer. she posted this question....

this is not a joke, any suggestions or advice? thanks!

Hey listen up sweet 14...
U can not save the whole world.. and I understand u only want to save Ur friend..
well now is the time to take off Ur judgmental hat and be a real friend..

It is up to u to convince her.. she is loved regardless..
convince her.. she needs to prove everyone is wrong about her..

she first has to get some self esteem about her self before she can do anything,, or decide anything..
she is mixed up and confused..
take it in baby steps and don't hurry with it..

see if ur mom will let her stay for a w'end..
then build her up.. and don't argue with her.. and tear her down..
she feels alone..
see if she will go willingly to a home or a place where they can help her.. not just a rehab for drugs but a christian home.. to rebuild her spirit..
You are a good friend.. and I can feel Ur pain..
good luck, happy holidays..

Well first of all you can't force her into something you want to do. I know thats hard to hear but its true. Try talking to her privatley and let her know how you feel about this. Try and get her to see things from your point of view and try to make her see how you feel about it. Ask her if shes thought about turning to God and ask her if shes considered it. If she has try to make her see that its the right thing to do.

Hope this helped :)
