Question

my dad is currently working in france,,and i am desperatley trying to get in touch with him,,does anyone know a code i need to phone him,,

Heyah,,my dad is currently working away in France and i desperatly want to contact him on his mobile,,!
i am living in England and cant seem to get through to him using the 0033 before his number without the 0 at the start of his number..:S,,

im really confused..!

anyone have any ideas?

First you need your code for calling out of your country, in most of the world that will be 00 or +
for the USA it is 011 or +
then the code for France is 33, if the number starts with an 0 do not use it.

If you live in an area where the 00 does not work, look on this page for which code you do need:

Like +44 for the UK ?

Willeke,below me is right.
France also has City Area Codes which go after the 33.
A bit like UK with its Manchester = 0161 and such-like.
Get the International Operator to do it for you.
