Odd, but your battery could of just shot craps in that short of time. My 954rr battery was going bad this spring and I let it sit with the key on for about 5 minutes and it drained it since it was already about shot. I don't think the 750 gixxers have any type of oil level sensor that would cause it to keep from turning over. But I would definitely start with the battery. You could have just enough juice to light the dash. Good luck! And if all else fails, call SUZUKI!

Oil filter can hold up to 3/4 qt. of oil. If you put a dry filter in it is starving for oil. You need to pour a lil oil inside the filter before putting it on next time. Also just do a torque test on everything. You may have bumped something loose and something isn't connected all the way. I've had this same problem and it turned out I was trying to start it in 1st gear while the kickstand was down. Another time I had the switch in the off position and didn't realize it.

alot of times when the engine senses there is no oil in the pump then it will not crank. Check to make sure you used the correct type of oil first for your bike and then make sure that you put the right amount in. If the level is down from normal the engine will do a "lock" down to protect itself. Cars do not do this but smaller engines/bikes do this for protection. Hope that helps some.

the battery is defenitly bad. That is why the engine will not turn over; motorcycle batteries are different from those in cars; if a charge is not kept (and it loses it buy itself after a month) it goes bad and cannot be restored. Do not start the bike with a bad battery or a removed battery, the electrical system can break if you do. Just go buy a new battery, assemble, charge, and install. They are about 40 dollars, I've replace two myself and it was very easy.

First take a look and see if you loosened a wire or a ground fell off while you were changing the oil. Next, try and turn the engine by hand. Take the spark plug(s) out and see if it will turn over. Next, check the starter fuse. After that, load it in the back of a truck and take it to a shop to be fixed.

Most Suzukis won't crank the engine unless the clutch lever is pulled in.
Even when they are in neutral, the clutch lever needs to be pulled in.
The "starter lock out" switch (at the clutch lever) could be unplugged or defective. Just a thought.
Will the engine crank if you jump both terminals of the starter solenoid together. That will at least rule out a locked up engine and bad starter motor.

Vacuum lock? Try taking the oil fill plug out and cranking it.

did you check the spark plugs cause that's what happened to my bike you change the spark plugs often cause they can have a build up of oil and dirt but try cleaning them with a piece of sand paper first and they work just as new
