Let me break this down for you so you understand it.
3a + 3(5-a)
First you distribute 3 in the parenthesis. This is now 3a + 15 - 3a.
Next we collect like terms. So now we subtract 3a from 3a; 3a-3a + 15= + 15 or just 15.
The answer is 15.
Your welcome!

there is an understood 1 infront of the a so it would be
3a+3(5-1a) so then you add one a to both sides
+1a +1a which comes out to
4a+3(5) then you multply 3*5 so you get
4a+15, but because you have no equals, there is no equation....thats how you brak it down but there is no answer because your missing the = part!
sorry

Is this supposed to be an equation ? If so, if it equals 15, it's true for every value a can take, otherwise it's false.
