I can never look someone in the eye and pretend to feel differently than I really do feel. My face betrays all my inner feelings and emotions. However, once I was very worried and feeling like crap about a certain friend, but couldn't let that friend know about the problems that were going on. I had to maintain a cheerful facade and send happy smiley messages to keep that friend in a happy mood during a period in which it was very important to maintain focus and concentration. Thank God I pulled it off!

Generally I put on an indifferent facade when I am unhappy. I don't want people trying to tell me to be happy, so I just act like I don't give a sh!t about anything, most of the time. Sometimes, I have a hard time hiding it, and then I just try to hide from people.

Hmmmm... I am not going to lie. I sometimes am in a shitty mood... And everyone knows it. But if you knew me in person, you would understand when I say this. I am a quiet person. I really don't talk much. So if I'm quiet, it's normal for me. It's what people expect from me. People generally have no idea when I am not happy.
Thats the great thing about yahoo answers though. I can blow off all the steam I want, ya know?

All depends on who I'm talking to at the moment.But yes I have done the facade - happy face and I have let it all hang out.

Sometimes I have to pretend that I'm happy and friendly because I work in a hospital and I can't be rude or mean to patients. Outside of work, I usually don't give a crap!

When there's people around. Sometimes I do with my husband. The only time I ALWAYS have a true happy face on is when I'm with my little man-cub. I love that little turd
