I will be home with my family recovering from a night of drinking and eating. Tradition in my family is to celebrate Christmas Eve go to midnight mass then come home, eat more and drink lots and stay up till 4 am. Then we sleep till 11 or so and get up eat more food, then watch christmas movies or hang out around the tree!!

Right here, in my warm comfortable home, serving Christmas dinner to to my husband, my mom, my aunt, my brother and sister-in-law. I was hoping our son, daughter-in-law and infant grandson would be here, but he's in the Air Force and is new to his current base, which means he is low man on the totem pole and is on-call so he can't travel more than 5 hours away. Home is TEN hours away! Damnit!
