Real trees are beautiful. And they smell great! But I use a fake tree. It's easier to clean up after and it looks pretty good year after year. If I had kids, I'd probably have a real tree though. Kids love the real thing... or at least I did when I was a kid.

Real up until the day I have to drag the real one out of the house and it leaves a trail of sticky needles I will continue to find until July 4. On that day, I prefer fake.

Real.. what's the use of having a tree that is fake.. No smell, no authenticity... Fake tree, you might have just went out and bought a plastic palm tree and put some light on it..

I get a live tree not a cut one...after Christmas it gets planted in my yard. That way no trees are killed.

Fake, less mess and no needles stabbing you in the bare feet. Plus, the whole save a tree thing I guess.

Real ones seem like more of a pain. But if your a person who doesn't mind that stuff then real all the way. Just hope your house doesn't burn down.
