You could play Wii Sports Tennis on Nintendo Wii. Its being active and makes you feel like your really playing. If you get a little lazy you could also play Top Spin or Top Spin 2 on Xbox or Xbox 360 respectively.
Or, depending on the space you have in your house, you could buy a ping pong table and play mini-tennis inside. Last time I looked they cost about $280. I bought one about 6 years ago and its still going strong.
Whenever it gets wet..or extremely hot.. I resort to these things to meet my tennis fix. Hope i helped...

My advice...do anything but DON'T stay inside..even if you say it is the weather...unless it was fatal!!
Staying inside will only make it worse..cz when you get back after the weather gets better..the only feeling you are gonna get is depression!!
There must be tons of stuff that you can do outside even if it was raining..snowing..anything, like..you can play indoor tennis, or you can meet with your friends some where, or you can jog...yea...even if it was pouring...gives you a great feeling...trust me!!
This way...when you get back to play tennis after the weather stops bothering you...you wont feel any strange or unfamiliar with that..at the contrary, it will be so great!!
Watching videos inside will only put the picture in your head, and keep it there for a while..but it's different on the court...cz videos wont increase your physical or mental skills...that's if you were considering to kill the time watching them..it's better that you kill it out there!!

Pierce stuff
PS- The way you phrased the question I don't see the 'idiots' was warranted. People do put questions in the wrong categories.
Watch Tennis matches on TV or read Tennis magazines.

1. Work on conditioning. Do isometrics, etc.
2. Get some tennis videos to watch or books to read. You should get some tips on improving your game. A local library should have something, or a local tennis coach if you know one.
3. Practice hitting imaginary balls, changing grips, etc. Maybe even bouncing real balls in the air if you don't destroy the house.

Have someone rent you some movies. Catch up on all the movies you had wanted to see in the theater, but did get to see it. If you aren't too sick, ask your friends and family to come visit you. If you can walk around and have energy, try and organize and clean in places that need a good cleaning. Organize all your photos.

find a wall and a soft ball and aplastic tennis racket, put up a target(maybe your least favorite person)and crack the ball at it, remembering to use the same technique as in normal outdoor tennis!

Order some animals over the internet and turn your house/flat into an indoor zoo. Then you could make yourself some cash by charging admission.
