So many left wingers on this site criticize those with money that one would think that a person should be without means in order to be a good person.

Vote in a democrat for President and find out. Taxing the heck out of everyone is their solution to everything, EVERYTHING. Even high taxes. They'd increase taxes to set up a think tank to consider options about how to decrease taxes.

I live well below my means so that if I ever do have less money, it won't affect me much. Living below my means also allows me to save and invest, which ironically allows me to earn more.

I am more generous now than I was when I had less because I have more to be generous with.

By the way, I'm a libertarian with very conservative views on economics.

The question, because it singles out "left wingers," rather than just asking what on its surface is an interesting question, smacks of a rant. I suspect that you already know what answer you want, and you'll demonstrate it when you pick the answer that says,"Oh, you are so right! Those Left wing types just hate me because I'm successful and they are such hypocrites driving their jets to hug-a-polar-bear- meetings..." or some such.

I'll be gratified and happy if you prove me wrong.

I don't have any money and I criticize the left wingers. Conservatives aren't about being rich. They are about being right. They have core values and they believe in America. Let them criticize all they want. Then they can take a look at my checkbook.

Actually, I work for a non-profit organization so salaries are not very high. If I had less money to take home...life would be very difficult and I would not be able to help the number of charities that I donate to now.
Taking home less money does not necessarily make one a better person. It is how a person uses that money that counts.

Sure I could live on less money, I could raise my family on les if need be. But I have many things in my life I have yet to achieve, these things take money. My wife just opened a business to achieve her dreams. So no I would not.

The richest people in America are liberals. Look at the top 10 richest people on Forbes. They all try to cover up their extravagant lifestyles by criticizing the right. Hollywood liberals are the worst.

Less money! I struggle as it is on my paycheck.
How about a raise to get caught up on the unpaid
bills.?

Anybody can have less money. I just throw it out the car window when I have too much.

If you have produced wealth, then you are a good person. If you have acquired it, then you might as well throw it out because it means nothing.

It's not that people with money are bad necessarily; it is the fact that so many of them forget how much they depend on the "poor" for the things they enjoy in their lives, and don't take account of that when voting, or making other decisions.
