Hidden in the far reaches of the back of your mind is the thought of a possible third party that keeps surfacing. If you recognise the thought you are a believer in god. If your ignor the third party thought you are kidding yourself and ignoring the possibility that your mind is trying to tell you something.
Don't deny that the thought is there. You do not want to be a liar.

what? you go from needing a third party to be valid, to the thought of a possible third party (which could or could not validate you),
as to needing validation, no i dont, i was born knowing that there are many paths to God, each person chooses the one best for them
while its nice to hear from others who feel the same way, i was just as strong in my belief when i was young, and knew no others,
the part of me that causes me to feel so, the thoughts, are mine, not a third party,
was i influenced by a third party before i came to this earth? perhaps, i cant really know

Oh wait I get it kinda. No I don't need a third party to be valid, whether it be a higher power or any other entity. I pretty much think of everything in terms of myself, for example; I do not know you therefore you are meaningless and insignificant. I am all that matters, everything else's importance revolves only around how i feel about it.

You sound like someone who has recently seen a movie or read a book that inspired this statement. Either way, I believe that everyone has an inner voice. Sometimes we use it and sometimes we don't. But it's our choice either way. And as far as the third party; there's a reason there's a saying about Me, myself, and I.

No...my beliefs are intact. I do not need a third party to reinforce them.

I do listen to others who have different beliefs than I do...I respect their ways of life...however, they do not influence me to change mine.

You mean in the sense of a 'god'?

The only person in my head is me, the only person telling me to do something is me. The only things that are guiding me is, well, me and karma.

Perhaps it is different for others?
