Why would they mail it?! It doesn't have enough stamps, doesn't matter what you put on there.

It'd be no different than putting on a Balloon Sticker, not enough postage is not enough postage ..

They'd send it back to you and require more postage.

USPS will return the mail to you with "postage due" stamped on it. You need to buy their 2 cent stamps and put 2 of them on or take 37 cent stamps back and get 41 cent ones. I know because that is what happened when I forgot and just used old stamp. Merry Christmas to you.

As long as you have a total of 41 cents postage on the envelope you can use any stamp combinations..old, new or otherwise.

Yes the person you are sending it to will be asked by the postal man to pay the remaining postage due or it will just be sent back so make sure you put two of those stamps on there!

I'm one of those people that get snookered into buying books of stamps when I don't need them and eventually the postage goes up and I have to go buy more stamps to keep accurate count. Well, it happens to a lot of people. just buy them as you need them. It's better off that way unless you use a lot of stamps. You can also purchase a $00.02 stamp and still get by.

I F, and that's a big IF, the post office catches the mistake, the envelope will be returned for insufficient postage. Sometimes they will deliver it with postage due. There is no way to tell.

Well it will go out, but it will also be returned to you for the correct postage that is needed for them to send it. Ask a silly question, your gonna get allot of silly answers. Go ahead and try it. Better late then never. LOL
