I'm sick and tired of people worshiping sports players like there some kind of Religious figure...

All i hear week in and week out is...

The fans think these people are GOD:

Brett Favre
Tony Romo
Tom Brady
Peyton Manning
Randy Moss
Terrell Owens
Adrian Peterson
Ladanian Tomilson...

... and the list goes on.... It's freaking football people...

There great at what they do and that's why they get the big bucks... the end.

No. I like Jesus better despite Brett Favre's prowess as a QB.

Unfortunately, people nowadays treat sports stars as religions.

This is a stupid question. I think Brett's so down to earth and kinda seems like "a neighbor" so people can somehow associate their lives to his and his joking take everything in stride manner people just gravitiate toward. He's also a winner and people like those as well. Even if people don't like hi they respect him and his accomplishments so there's usually no cracking on him constantly.
Take your pick of those reasons and that's why so many different people like him.

Nope, don't believe in religion. Believe in God, but not religion, and there is a difference.
