His in-ring mechanics are a little to be desired, plus on the mic he talks about the same crap all the time. I liked when he would diss his opponets by rapping. Plus he was on top for so long, when there were at least 3 people that should have had the top spot. I'm not saying he isn't champioship material, but he isn't the best.

I don't know.
I'm not a huge Cena fan or anything but i don't see anything particularly wrong with him either. I mean sure he only does a few moves but isn't that the WWE's decision? His gimmick isn't as good as it once was (like back in 2005) but again that's the WWE's decision. Not his. It's not his fault they make him boring sometimes.
He does the best he can with what he is given and that's all he can do.
But why are we talking about him anyway?
He's injured and getting a much deserved break.

some people just got pissed because of his long title reign. Which wasn't even his fault. it was the creative teams fault for listening to the kids then the young adults and adults. Cena is acutally a pretty good wrestler who can put on good matches. i dont hate or like the guy.

The longevity of his title reign is one reason. for, its that the whole 'overcoming the odds' angle was used with him far too often.
plus, if you really watch his matches, you will realize he isnt that good of a wrestler, but he build fan support, he has charisma and people love him, so thats why he is one of the top guys.
wrestling isnt about in rign skill anymore as much as its about charisma and personality. take people like lance storm, he was a great wrestler, but as soon as he came to wwe, he pretty much got screwed and was forced to job becasue he wasnt all that good on the mic.

Probably because of how long he held the title
personaly i respect him as a athlete and competetor, id like to see him show up at the guys who hide behind their computer monitors houses, and lay an asswhoopin they aint never dreamed of on them

i don't diss that much but some people tell me they diss him cuz he went to be a maineventer to fast and guys like chris benoit they waited a long time to be a maineventer and he only has like 5 or 6 moves

Maybe because he held the title for so long and people think he can't wrestle, I personally respect him because if he wasn't good how did he beat the people that he beat and why would the WWE pay him if he couldn't wrestle nor entertain.
Ponder on that thought!

Because of his title reign and 'unbeatable' gimmick.
I don't hate him, his moves are pretty spread out in my opinion and he is an all round good wrestler.
EDIT: Finally, some other people on Y!A who respect Cena.

cos he was only good at a u.s title level. for me he was a good heel, but i really started to hate him when first, he had an crap match with angle who had to carry him though it, and then won. and secondly he made Benoit tap out, that is a good enough reason why he went crazy.....
