if you have been happily married for 12yrs. and your spouse just pops up and asks you if you have been cheating would you be upset or let it go. the accusations have no base.

Well, sometimes when they get like that it's b/c they are doing something that they know is wrong. Especially if there is no base to the accusations.

I would be livid. To me it has always turned out that the accuser has always been in the wrong. My conscience is 110% clear. Accuse away,cause your gonna feel like a fool when you found you were wrong!

Yeh my bull s h i t detector would be alarmed. Sounds like something is going on in their life. I would be upset 'cause it's a trust issue. I'd be getting out my communication cards and lay it all out on the table....

If there were something that looked suspicious to them, I guess I couldn't blame them. If there were nothing, I'd wonder about them. It's my experience that people who accuse their partner of cheating or is always suspicious of their behavior is hiding something themselves.
