Is Betty Boop brunette or a redhead? Having into consideration that in her ONLY color animation, 'Poor Cinderella', her hair is red and that all the commercials with her represent her hair as being black.

well, from what I read ina book I have, betty boop is based largely on Clara Bow. Clara had firey red hair, but she was an actress in the time of b&w movies, so they just made it blaack to go with that, but since the design is based on Clara, i'd say her hair would technically have to be red.

Betty's hair is usually black . I saw the cartoon where she had red hair, but that was the only instance .

She has always been a brunnette. They probably changed it just for that one show but colorized versions of her portray her as having dark hair.
