Yes, I do answer questions with 'links' and even some that have the URL that isn't linked. I suppose that you feel that you 'can't be bothered' but you may be 'missing out' on learning something new, or a great laugh, or a truly IMPORTANT answer to that questioner. What you 'do' here in Y!A is UP TO YOU, though ... so I'll continue to answer ALL the questions that I have a good answer for, and you may continue to do what you want.

It depends on where the link leads. Say if it's a photo sharing site, or a search engine, basically anything that I might go to on my own, then I might answer it. For example, one of my contacts pretty much has a link to an accompanying picture on photobucket for every single one of his questions. So i know i can trust the links. But if it goes to somewhere i've never heard, then i probably will just keep going to another question.

I guess right clicking and clicking on "open in another tab" is way out of some people's thought process, but yes I click links.

Sometimes I answer them, but I never go to the link. Like you, I can't be bothered.

If I recognise and trust the site (youtube, eBay, wikipedia) then I'll click on it.
But if it's a strange website, I stay clear because a lot of them can contain viruses and stuff.

Yes I do and I have found some very interesting sites with pictures, songs, and good info. I just make sure I have my pop up blocker on to chase away the nasty flies.

yes because some of them are funny and some of them give information that is easier to access than a long passage in support of the question
