Vikings look like they'll make the playoffs, hooking up with the 6th seed. no they cannot win their division. the Packers already clinched the division, thus making them the NFC North Champions in 2007. the Vikings will have to play every playoff game on the road, unless the Giants collapse at the end of the regular season, the vikings might get a home game in the NFC Championship game if the Giants also make it that far, but that is highly unlikely. at this point in time, the NFC playoff scenario looks like this:
1. Cowboys
2. Packers
3. Seahawks
4. Buccaneers
5. Giants
6. Vikings
that would be the playoff scenario if the season ended right now. the Vikings would have to travel to Seattle in the Wild Card round, while the Giants travel down to Tampa Bay. if the Vikings win this wild card game, they will automatically be going to Dallas as Dallas is the top seed, which always plays the lowest seed of the playoff teams.

They won't win the Division, as the Packers have already clinched it. But I think they'll make the playoffs, and I think they have a good chance at passing the Giants for the #5 seed. They should win their remaining games, and New York will probably lose their final two games, which would put both teams at 10-6. The Vikings would then get the higher seed due to their head-to-head win.

The Vikes will make the playoffs if they win 2 out of the last 3 games(bears@ vikes, skins @ vikes, vikes@ broncos) Then they would probally face the Seahawks or The Bucs. Neither of those teams can stop the run. The packers already won the north. I think when the Vikes get in the playoffs they will be a team that nobody wants to play.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the Packers already clinched the NFC North Division. The way they are playing now, I think they can make the playoffs, then lose to someone like the Giants.

Yes, but it has to be as a wild card since they are 7-6 and the Packers are 11-2 with three games left.

We have heard in sports " We are better than our record" ..but I think the Giants are wrose than their record. Watch out for teams like the Packers and Seattle. Imagine somehow the bills make the playoffs??

Green Bay wrapped up the division yesterday so no chance at that for Minnesota. Will they make the playoffs as a wildcard? I still seriously doubt it. Giants all but have one wildcard spot sewn up, that leaves one spot left and about 6 teams in the hunt.

I believe you'd have to get the Packers to give you the division title that they already won yesterday......The Vikes can get a wildcard if they are lucky though.
