Land of Confusion, originally by Genesis. Comes with a bloody awesome video. The lyrics behind that song alone would make great premises for a novel aimed at older teen readers.

Hmm, that's a tough one. ^_^ Nearly anything from their first couple of hit albums rocks my socks.
I'd have to say it's either "Stupify" (from..."The Sickness"? It's been a while since I've heard their first album), or "Liberate (Your Mind)" from "Believe".
It's kind of a pity they had to lean more towards mainstream metal with their recent efforts, but I get it, it's an adaptation to circumstances. Whatever works and gets the tunes *out there*, you know? ^_^
