my son started doing this when i had to make the nipple hole a bit bigger for him when we put the cereal in the bottle. the nipples would get mixed up and he would choke on the formula since it was coming out too fast.

maybe try a slower nipple speed or a new nipple.

You should probably check with your pediatrician about this one. It may be that your son has developed a problem digesting formula - my daughter did and nobody caught it, but she knew enough to push it away from her. Too bad the adults weren't quicker on the uptake. If he has any signs of digestive upset you might want to switch to a soy based formula to see if he takes that better than he does milk-based formula. It's worth a try.

Well, don't force the bottle on him! Try feeding him with a sippy cup. And... just wondering, when you need to spell something with a Q in it, do you use the G key then?

try a sippie cup hold it for him
also sucking a bottle hurts with a sore throat or earache. Any fever?

Try to push water at least because he needs fluids. Maybe the food is causing him to change his feeding habits. I would talk to his pediatrician about options.

Try a sippy.

Also has he been exposed to juice (those smart little guys learn it tastes better than formula)

Will he still eat solids?

Try a new nipple and bottle. Don't force it.
