It's difficult for me to write this in proper English, but I hope you understand.)
I managed to loose the shortcut to the desktop, which normally are placed next to the Start-button on the toolbar on the screen. How do I get the desktop shortcut back? Anything would be helpful, thanks.

Thanks, I had apparently managed to delete the shortcut, so I just restored it and it was ok... Haha, this was a really silly mistake to do. But thanks everyone, you're all the best answers!

Just create a new shorcut. Somewhere in an open space right click on your mouse. You will see the word New. Mouse over this and you will see Shorcut or Folder. Pick Shorcut. you will see a window open up for you to name the shortcut. Then browse for the program realting to what you want to appear. Most progams are in you Program file which can be found on the C: drive under documents and settings.

Where did the shortcut go? Just drag it back to the toolbar and Windows will set it up again.

If you don't have it, just create one. Find the app you want to a shortcut for. Right-click it, select "Create Shortcut". Windows will create a shortcut file. Drag that to the toolbar.

Eh, try right this:

Right click on desktop background > properties > desktop tab > customize desktop

Or drag and drop a shortcut where ever you want it.
