I take it you haven't consulted a doctor yet about ttc. When I told by doctor at my last yearly check up that I was looking to trying for a baby soon, she prescribed me some prenatal vitamins and a diet high in folate such as strawberries, oranges, etc. She said that a woman needs these vitamins and nutrients so the body is prime for pregnancy and would guarantee a healthy pregnancy and baby. So if you're ttc, I would suggest you start taking them.
